Dear Valued Visitors,

Due to the efforts to increase COVID-19 vaccination coverage worldwide, including in Myanmar, and the public's adoption of new normal setting, the incidence of the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly decreased. With the aim of relaxing health regulations to promote the development of the tourism and trade sectors, "Public Health Requirements for Travelers Entering Myanmar Through International Airports, Seaports and Cross Border PoEs (1-3-2024)" have been revoked by the Ministry of Health.

Dear Valued Visitors,

Currently, due to the decrease in the incidence rate of COVID-19, the exemption from health insurance certificate checks at international airports, sea ports, and border crossings, and in accordance with the announcement from the Ministry of Health "Public Health Requirements for Travellers entering Myanmar through International Airports, Seaports and Cross Border PoEs (1-3-2024)", it is no longer necessary to submit a health insurance certificate as supporting documentation when applying for an e-visa.
